What the site is

Tally Rooms is a free, community-written guide to the Tally Rooms on ships. Everything about a vessel is written by other users and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Ships change, rooms change, and a room that was fine last week may not be today.

Safety first

The site is only an aid. It does not replace the instructions of your employer, the vessel’s crew, the port authority or any safety procedure. Always follow the rules and the safety briefing of the ship and the port. Never take a risk to reach, use or photograph a Tally Room.

Writing a review

When you submit a review, a photo or any other content you agree that:

• it is honest and based on your own experience, and it describes the Tally Room and nothing else;
• it does not contain insults, threats, hate, discrimination or false statements about a person or company;
• it does not contain personal data, such as names, phone numbers, documents, number plates or photos in which people can be recognised;
• it does not contain confidential, security-sensitive or illegal material, and it does not infringe anyone’s rights;
• it is not advertising, spam or automated or repeated submissions.

What you allow us to do with your content

You keep the rights to what you write and photograph. By submitting it you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to store, show, resize and share it on the site, and to keep backups, for as long as it is on the site. You confirm that you are allowed to give this permission.

Moderation

Reviews are published only after approval. We may refuse, edit, hide or delete any content, vessel or review at any time and without notice, for example if it breaks these terms, looks like abuse or is simply wrong. You can report a review with the “Report” button.

Using the site

Please do not try to break, overload or misuse the site, collect its content with automated tools, or interfere with its security. We may block connections that do.

Links to other sites

The site shows news headlines and weather from other providers. They are not ours, we do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

No guarantees

The site is offered “as is” and “as available”, free of charge. We do not promise that it is accurate, always online or free of errors, and we are not responsible for decisions you take based on it. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or of content written by users. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Removing content

If you think something on the site breaks the law, harms you or breaches your rights, tell us which page and what the issue is, and we will look at it quickly. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

Changes and law

We may change these terms or the site at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the change. These terms are governed by Italian law, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
